Victor

Victor enjoys his time at the sanctuary with his two brothers, Viktor and Vyctor. Like all
siblings, Victor and his brothers don’t always get along. As a result, they live in their own separate areas, where they are able to grow as individuals, but they still can be heard talking to each other quite frequently. Roosters are known for being protective of their hens, and they are usually very gentle with humans. Victor tries to impress the ladies by hollering out to them, and he is unfazed that these hens live with a different rooster. His favorite foods are scratch and lettuce.

It’s important to recognize that roosters have different personalities. This is in part because their past experiences, which are often very different, have a significant impact on their current behavior. Showing animals the love and care that humans are capable of will allow roosters like Victor to trust again and be the gentle individuals they are.
