Frizzle

Frizzle, along with her sister (Frazzle), came the the sanctuary as just a chick in October 2020. Frizzle and her sister were given to a young girl by her prom date, as part of his prom proposal. The young girl, not knowing what to do with the chicks, brought them to our sanctuary, where they were welcomed with open arms. Since then, Frizzle has enjoyed her new life and is very warm and friendly.

Frizzle is a Road Island Red Chicken and looks identical to her sister, making it a bit hard to tell them apart. While she has many “likes,” including cuddling with her human caretakers, she also has one major dislike: the use of chicks as props in prom proposals!
