Flip

Flip is our oldest aviator. This independent chicken finds himself on top of everything and anything, whether that be a hay bale, another chicken’s head, or the warm feet of our human family members (only if someone is offering hornworms, otherwise steer clear). As the most experienced chicken in the sanctuary, Flip isn’t afraid to inspect whatever beaks his curiosity and share it with his aviators-in-training.

While his sisters and brothers have more common amber eyes, Flip has black feathers and piercing black eyes, both of which make him pretty memorable. When he’s all tuckered out, you can bet that he’s cozying up with his chicken friends. He definitely enjoys a good night’s rest before heading out on more adventures once the sun rises.
